After a nice few days of fall weather, we’ll be dealing with some not so awesome conditions today as low pressure approaches from the southwest. Clouds have already overspread the area, and rain will follow suite this afternoon. In terms of timing for rain, SW NH will be first up, with precipitation beginning in the early afternoon hours. It will take longer for the rain to reach Maine, but all except far NE areas should see precip by sunset, with those last holdouts filling in shortly after dark.
Temperature wise, it’ll be a seasonably cool day as we sit on the cool side of the warm front, with developing ESE winds and overcast skies. Look for highs generally in the mid 60’s, with cooler temps in the mountains.
