Light Rain And Snow For The South Monday

Hello everyone!

Monday will feature light rain and snow in southern/coastal areas as a very weak disturbance drifts overhead. Expect flurries and light rain to develop late tonight across southern NH before drifting into southern coastal portions of Maine early Monday morning. Precip will mainly start off in the form of light snow, with a change to light rain expected SW of Portland in the mid/late morning hours. Parts of York and Cumberland counties just west of the Turnpike will do the best with this storm, seeing 1-3″ of accumulation. Amounts will taper off to the northwest as moisture/lift is limited closer to the mountains. The immediate coast east of 295 will mix with and change to rain midday, leading to lower totals there. High temps will range from the mid 20’s in the north to the mid 30’s in the south.
