Today will feature cooler and breezier weather as yesterday’s storm exits into the Canadian Maritimes. Today’s NW winds will carry a fair bit of moisture with them, meaning we can expect robust upslope snows in the mountains. An additional 3-6″ will fall in the higher elevations, with 1-3″ in the valleys. Flurries will escape down into the foothills from time to time with little/no accumulation. The extra moisture also means that it’ll be harder for downslope areas to clear out. That said, coastal locations can expect at least some breaks of sun especially as we move into the afternoon hours.
Temps will be on the chiller side, ranging from 20 in the north to 30 in the south.
