Hello everyone!
Today will feature strong southerly winds bringing mild temps as well as wet conditions. Rain and wind are spreading through the area now and will become steady throughout the day. Fog will also be a issue as a warm moist air mass moving over a solid snow pack creates dense fog as we have seen in the last two heavy rain events. Tomorrow will feature the passage of a coastal low offshore that could bring light rain/snow to the region. A few more rain/snow showers are possible Thursday. Friday is our rest day with mostly sunny skies and cooler temps. The January thaw ends this weekend with accumulating snow and highs back where they should be- in the 10’s and 20’s.
