After some showers yesterday, we will be returning to our endless streak of sunny skies and temps a few degrees on either side of 80 today. Temps will be cooler along the coast due to a sea breeze and some inland spots could start out under some localized river fog but other than that, nothing too exciting is in the forecast.
I will be heading out-of-state today on a family trip to the mountains and will be unable to post until July 5th. In the meantime, please check local media and the NWS for your forecast info if you don’t already and please don’t use the crap app on your phone, it’s usually wrong 🙂
Today will be warmer and drier than yesterday as that system moves east. Look for high generally in the 70’s with some upper 60’s along the immediate coast and in the far north. Skies will be partly to mostly cloudy with the most clouds over far southern areas. Some showers are possible in the mountains but most should stay dry today.
Today will feature cooler temps, cloudier skies, and showers/thunderstorms likely for most. Showers and storms are expected to move in from the west later this morning before exiting during the evening hours. The atmosphere is set up in a way so that it won’t take much for storms to drop some small hail due to very low freezing levels. Highs will range from the mid to upper 60’s north and east to low to mid 70’s south and west where some sun may re-appear this afternoon.
Today will feature more of the same with warm temps and sunny skies. A cold front without any cold air behind it passed through last night but its only significant impact will be to bring slightly drier air into the region today on NW winds. These NW winds will act to fend off any significant sea breeze as well as raise temps due to downsloping. Highs will rise into the mid to upper 80’s inland with low to mid 80’s in the mountains and along the immediate coast. Skies will be mostly sunny.
Today will feature sunny skies and increasing temps as warm air spills into the region on SW winds. Look for highs in the upper 70’s in the far north and along the coast while the interior warm spots likely get into the low 90’s. Skies will be mostly sunny and no precip is expected. Showers and storms arrive tomorrow.
Today will feature warm temps, slowly increasing clouds, and the low chance for a shower inland. Highs will climb into the upper 60’s to low 70’s at the coast and the upper 70’s to low 80’s inland. There is a low chance that a shower forms in the foothills though most should stay dry. Clouds will increase this afternoon but skies should remain clear in the morning hours.
Today will feature warm temps, sunny skies, and dry conditions as high pressure slides south over the region. Highs will rise into the 70’s for most with low 80’s in the usual warm spots. Skies should remain mainly clear and no showers are expected.
Today will feature warm temps, partly cloudy skies, and the chance for an afternoon shower. Highs will range through the 70’s region wide today with a few 80 degree readings possible in the usual warm spots. An afternoon shower or storm could pop up later in the day but they are expected to remain widely scattered and low impact. The vast majority of the area will likely remain dry.
Today will feature clear skies, light winds, and warm temps. Highs look to climb into the 70’s for most with some low 80’s possible in the usual SW interior warm spots. Some clouds are possible along the coast this evening as a backdoor cold front arrives but aside from an occasional sprinkle here or there things should remain dry.
Remember yesterday? Yeah that’s basically today’s weather in a nutshell except about 5 degrees warmer and a hint sunnier. Look for highs in the upper 50’s to low 60’s north and upper 60’s to low 70’s south. Skies will remain partly to mostly cloudy but a few more sunny breaks are likely today. Winds will remain busy with gusts again to 30 mph. The chance exists for a spot shower especially in the mountains as with yesterday but no significant rainfall is expected.
