A look at the week’s weather

Hello everyone!

Today will feature mild temps in the 40’s along with the chance for rain. Don’t be too unhappy though as northern areas will get an inch of snow. Rain will be most likely between 11 AM and 5 PM.

Tomorrow will feature a very warm day with many New Hampshire towns climbing well into the 70’s and most Maine towns comfortably in the 60’s. Some fog is expected east of Brunswick which could hold temps in the 50’s.

Tuesday will feature rain. Lots and lots of rain. Heavy rain is expected all day Tuesday as a cold front slowly approaches the area. Rainfall amounts will be between .75″ and 1.5″. This rain combines with today’s precip and weeks of warm weather will create a flood risk. A flood watch is in effect for the entire area so watch out for high water. Temps will be in the 50’s.

Wednesday we clear out and cool down. Temps are not expected to reach 50 as NW winds funnel cooler air in. Skies will be mostly sunny. Winds could gust above 15 mph at times.

Thursday and Friday will be very similar here in New England. Sunny skies, light winds and temps near 60 will be enjoyed to end the week. More rain is possible next weekend.
