Cold And Very Windy Today As Another Arctic Blast Moves In

Hello everyone!

Today’s main weather story will be the wind. Winds will gust in excess of 50 mph region wide today and a wind advisory has been put out for Maine and NH by the NWS in Gray due to the high wind threat. Up in the mountains where an inch or two of snow fell last night, watch for low visibilities to continue today as blowing and drifting takes over. A winter weather advisory is up for the mountains due to the expected blowing and drifting. Temps today will start in the 20’s for most but will fall throughout the day with subzero readings making it all the way to the coast by tomorrow morning.

A slow warmup is in store for this week culminating in some rain showers and a shot at 50 degrees on Thursday.
