Hello everyone!
Today will feature a lovely start with most areas reporting mainly clear skies this morning. Clouds will quickly increase however as a storm moves in from the NW. As of now, it looks like this event will resemble summer thunderstorms more than a spring-time clipper. Areas farther north will see more activity and south of the MA border, just another mainly sunny spring day is on tap. Some snow/sleet could mix in across the far north and the higher terrain so watch for that in the favored spots. Thunder will also be a concern today especially north of a Brunswick/Fryeburg line and in some of the stronger cells, some small hail is possible. Most shower/thunderstorm activity should start around 1 along the international border and move SE from there.
A coastal storm is looking more likely early next week with rain and wind being the most likely impacts.
