Hello everyone!

Today will feature the passage of a cold front which means more clouds, warm temps (for today), and the chance for showers and thunderstorms. Showers are possible beginning in the mid morning hours and radar indicates rain falling across western areas as of 5:30 though surface observations show very dry air in place preventing this rain from reaching the ground. Thunderstorms are likely this afternoon but freezing levels are likely too high and instability too low for significant hail/wind issues. Skies will be mostly cloudy as temps rise through the 60’s for most and into the low 70’s south.
