Hello everyone!

Today will feature mainly cloudy skies along with afternoon and evening rain. Steady rain should move in after lunch with only light showers before then. There are still some differences in guidance regarding exactly when the precip shows up but by dinner time most folks should be seeing raindrops. It looks too warm for snow, even in the mountains. Highs will range from around 40 in the mountains to around 50 along the coast. Rain will move out early tomorrow morning after dropping between .75 and 1.5 inches of rain in most areas. Some of that could fall fairly heavily tonight.

There are some coastal flooding concerns today as well as astronomical high tides are in place along with some onshore flow. Most guidance keeps any surge under a foot and thus prevents us from needing to worry about any significant impacts though some low lying areas could be flooded in Portland, Biddeford, and Rockland especially if high tide coincides with a downpour or two. The tides to watch will be 11 AM this morning, 11:30 PM this evening, and 11:45 AM tomorrow. Again, no major impacts are expected but some flooding is likely.
