Hello everyone!
Today will feature increased cloudiness as well as the chance for rain and snow showers due to a cold front moving through the area. Precipitation chances will be greatest in the mountains, as downsloping winds along the coastal plain will rob the front of its already limited moisture supply. However, even parts of the coastline could see a brief shower, the timing for which would be midday. Those downsloping winds may also bring sunny breaks to the coastline, especially in the afternoon as the front moves offshore. High temperatures ahead of the front will be quite warm as southwesterly winds continue this morning. Midday temps will range from around 40 in the north to around 50 in the south, before cooling begins behind the front.
