Currently, sunny skies are present across the area and clear skies will slowly cloud over as an ocean storm begins its close flyby. Temps will rise into the 70’s for the majority of the area with 60’s along the coast as onshore flow develops this afternoon. Overcast skies are expected to develop tonight and will continue through tomorrow for all areas outside of the mountains. Showers are possible tomorrow especially along the midcoast as that ocean storm moves by to our east.
Today will feature mainly sunny skies after morning fog burns off in northern areas. Look for temps to make it into the low 70’s for the majority of the area with cooler temps to the south where clouds will linger the longest this morning. Dry conditions are expected after a few residual showers dissipate across southern New Hampshire.
Today will feature cloudy skies, cool temps, a raw wind off the water, and showers for much of the area. A warm front to our south will not be arriving in the area as cold Canadian high pressure to our north puts up a brick wall across western and southern New England. Look for temps not to exceed 60 degrees anywhere in the area with sun not expected to make an appearance. Showers will be on and off today with the wettest conditions across southern and western areas.
Today will feature a sunny sky and overcast finish as a storm system gradually drifts in our direction. Expect highs in the 60’s for most with a few low 70’s south. While skies will slowly cloud up, any rain will likely hold off until tonight. Our cool and unsettled pattern rolls on!
The trend across the past two days has been for a decrease in thunderstorm intensity/coverage. From Wednesday night’s line of storms that spanned the entire state to yesterday’s isolated cells and now today to widely scattered showers and possibly a storm or two. Repeated rounds of storms are gradually reducing the amount of energy in our portion of the atmosphere which is why we’re only expecting very widely scattered showers this afternoon. In areas that do happen to see a shower or storm, small hail is certainly possible due to the fact that storms don’t need to lift water very far up into the atmosphere for it to freeze. Temps will rise into the 60’s for most with low 70’s in the south. Skies will begin clear but clouds will develop as things begin to heat up this afternoon.
In the midst of a chaotic week schedule wise for me (sorry for irregular updates), we’ve had some active weather. Those thunderstorms last night were particularly awesome! We have more in the way of thunder en route today as morning fog gives way to mid day sun. Temps will move up into the low 70’s for most with some cooler temps north. SW winds will keep the sea breeze largely at bay. Storms will develop early this afternoon and will move east this evening with strong winds being the primary threat.
Today will feature more cloudy skies for most but some breaks of sun are already trying to push into the Midcoast and up across the mountains. These sunny breaks will try to move west through the day with limited success. As for temps, they will remain on the cool side but will be a bit warmer than yesterday with highs generally ranging through the 60’s. Skies will remain dry for most of the day with showers and a few rumbles of thunder approaching for this evening
A beautiful early Summer day is on the way today with sunny skies, no precip, and warm temps all expected. Highs will range from 80 inland to 70 at the coast where a sea breeze will develop this afternoon. Not a whole lot else to say but enjoy the day!
Today will feature cloudy skies, cool temps, NE winds, and slowly diminishing precipitation. Heavy rain is falling across the area currently and this will slowly weaken and move north as the storm to our east drifts closer. As the dry slot moves in, the steady downpours will be replaced by scattered showers that will continue through the evening. Temps will remain stuck in the 50’s for most as a cool onshore flow keeps much warmth from developing this afternoon.
Today will feature cloudy skies, cool temps, and afternoon rain showers as low pressure arrives from the south. Look for an east wind to gain strength this evening as rain showers arrive from the south. Showers will mostly be light but they will make the evening hours a bit wet. Heavier rain arrives tomorrow as low pressure develops offshore. Highs today will range from 55 to 60, coolest along the coast.
