Today will feature morning clouds clearing to afternoon sun along with warm to hot temps and continued high humidity. A shower is possible early this morning as the wind shift line sometimes called a “cold” front finishes moving through. There isn’t a whole lot of cold or even dry air behind the front which will make today pretty awful especially by September standards. Highs will range from the upper 70’s north to the upper 80’s south and while westerly downsloping winds may help to dry out the air, dew points remain near 70 this morning so there’s a lot of work to be done. Some southern NH areas are likely to touch 90.
If you’re like me and definitely opposed to this stifling weather in September, just be patient. By Thursday, highs may only be in the 60’s. Winter is coming.
