Remember yesterday? Yeah today is going to be basically the exact same. Moisture from the remnants of Irma will continue to support widespread fog this morning across the coastal plain and in the mountain valleys. Fog will slowly burn off later in the morning with sunny skies returning for the afternoon hours. Highs will warm into the mid 70’s north and low 80’s south. Cooler temps are expected along the coast where marine stratus will hang around the longest. We’ll remain mostly dry, with a few showers possible in the mountains as daytime heating in a moist airmass promotes some instability.
