Another Day of Quiet Weather

Hello everyone!

Today will feature continued quiet weather as another weak disturbances floats overhead. That disturbance, much like the last few we’ve dealt with this week, will be strong enough to bring clouds and maybe a few mountain flurries/snow showers but nothing more. The best chance of some sun will be found in southern NH today. High temps will range from around 30 in the north to around 40 in southeastern NH.

  1. I am getting so bored with this winter and now a darn rain event on the horizon. I don’t know about you, but I am so DONE with this winter Jack! 👎

    1. We’re not even way done with January and parts of the state have already seen a two foot snowstorm this year. Yeah we both wish there was more snow but it’s way too early to be waving the white flag.

      1. 🏳🏳🏳 I hate to debate this with you but a small fraction of the state got that big snow. I know you can’t always get what you want but for me, I like my snow early winter when the sun angle is nice and low so less melting, and it brightens up those otherwise dreary short days. I don’t like to wait until February and March for my winter to get going. Heck last year, we had our most snow in April which really stinks! Plus every model graphic I’ve seen has most of Maine missing out on big snows out as far as the model goes. There’s nothing out there that I can at least grab onto, no solid pattern change, no ray of hope other than generalities like “winter is far from over”. So, I still see no end of the cursed pattern for us other than the possibility of an occasional one-off storm that 𝑚𝑖𝑔ℎ𝑡 occur. Just so you know, I’m just ranting and lamenting over what fate has delivered us for winters the last couple of years. All the tree damage I had was terrible. Better to share it rather than keep it all bottled up inside.
