Less Humid Today

Hello everyone!

Canadian air is moving into the region from the northwest this morning behind the cold front that touched off showers and storms yesterday. This isn’t a powerful polar blast by any means, but dew points are falling below 60 in most of the area which is a very nice change from the past few days.

While dry air moves in at the surface, tropical moisture will be streaming in aloft from the remnants of Ida. This means morning sunshine will be short-lived in the south and along the coast while the mountains should enjoy a mostly sunny day. High temps will range from the low 70s up north to the low 80s along the coast. Any precipitation from Ida will remain well to our southwest today, arriving in our area sometime tomorrow afternoon/evening.
