Hello everyone!
Today will feature pretty nice spring weather especially by New England standards as high pressure slips offshore and warmer air begins to arrive on southwest winds. We have some low clouds and patchy fog out there this morning, but it should burn off in the next few hours as the sun comes up. By early afternoon, just about everyone should be enjoying some sunshine except perhaps for the eastern Midcoast where fog is prone to hang on the longest.
I will also be counting today as our first sea breeze of the season, and it will knock temps down a bit near the immediate coast where highs will be limited to the mid 40s. The mountains will be looking at similar temps, if not a smidge cooler, while the Maine foothills warm into the low 50s and SW NH makes a run towards 60.
