Hello everyone!
Today will feature cool temps, clear skies, and light northerly breezes as strong high pressure builds in from Canada. Highs will range through the 50’s for most of the area, with some low 60’s expected in SW NH . Skies will be mainly sunny and no precip is expected .

Hello everyone!
Today will feature cooler temps and increasing clouds as high and low pressure converge on the area. High pressure will provide the cooler temps as northerly winds bring cooler air in from Canada . This air will also be dry , which will slow and eventually stop the advance of rain from the southwest this evening. Highs will range from the low 50’s in the north to the mid 60’s in the south . Low pressure will impact our area today as well, mainly in the form of clouds that will steadily move into the area throughout the day . Showers associated with the system will be drying out as they approach , and we should stay mostly dry, with the possible exception of SW NH.

Hello everyone!
Today will feature more warm weather as a stagnant airmass remains in place. The core of Nate’s moisture has raced NE of our area, and dry weather is expected in its wake. However, we haven’t gotten a strong cold front to scour out the tropical airmass. As a result, temps in the lower 70’s today outside of the mountains will feel a bit muggy . Temps will be in the 60’s in the mountains. Skies will gradually become sunnier throughout the day today and no precipitation is expected.

Hello everyone!
Today will feature steady and, at times, heavy rain as the remnants of Hurricane Nate move through the area. Rain is already ongoing in New Hampshire and the SW part of Maine , and everyone will get a chance to see raindrops as the day progresses. Rain will depart from SW to NE this evening , with the entire region looking at a return to dry conditions after sunset. Temps will range from near 60 in the foothills to 75 in southern NH as a bit of a cold air damming setup takes hold . Especially in Southern NH, south of a warm front, humidity will be high today as the tropical moisture of Nate moves overhead.

Hello everyone!
Today will feature some shower activity as a cold front moves through the area. The first round of showers is just now moving into Western NH , and eastward motion into Maine is expected by midday. Showers will be heavy at times as moisture from Nate gets caught up in the front. The cold front will be slowing down as it approaches the coast, partially due to Nate’s influence. Sunshine will move into western areas this afternoon with gusty westerly winds , but it remains unclear if the sunny skies can make it all the way to the coast. Portland will be right on the edge , but the midcoast seems likely to remain in the clouds with fog developing this evening . We’ll be watching GOES-16 satellite imagery closely today to see where how the clearing is progressing. Temps will be warm and muggy with highs in the mid 70’s region wide . Slightly warmer temps will be found in the west where sun is expected to make an appearance earlier in the afternoon.

Hello everyone!
Unsurprisingly, our stretch of warm weather continues today as a warm front moves north through the area. High temps will range from 60 in the north, ahead of the front, to 75 in SW NH , behind the front. The front itself will bring some showers, especially in the north . Fog is also likely to develop as warm moist air passes over the Gulf of Maine.

Hello everyone!
A cold front drifted into our area last night , but has little moisture or upper level support to work with today. This means that instead of showers and thunderstorms, we’re left with another mild, dry day. Highs will reach 80 in the typical SW warm spots, with 70’s common elsewhere in the region . Some 60’s are expected in the mountains where cooler air has filtered in behind the front. Skies should be predominantly sunny region wide .

Hello everyone!
Today will continue a gradual warming trend we’ve seen throughout the past few days here in Maine as Canadian high pressure slips off to our southeast. Highs will rise into the 70’s for most with some low 80’s expected in interior S NH and SW ME . Skies will remain mostly clear though an increase in cloud cover is expected this evening in the north as a weak cold front attempts to approach from the northwest. Mostly dry weather will continue though an afternoon pop up shower or storm can’t be ruled out in the mountains. More organized shower activity will arrive from the west later in the night .

Hello everyone!
Strong high pressure continues to dominate the eastern third of the US this morning, and that means more beautiful weather for us. Skies are once again expected to be sunny today as temps warm into the low 60’s north and upper 60’s south . No precip is expected. Enjoy the day!
