Today will feature cooler temps and increasing clouds as high and low pressure converge on the area. High pressure will provide the cooler temps as northerly winds bring cooler air in from Canada. This air will also be dry, which will slow and eventually stop the advance of rain from the southwest this evening. Highs will range from the low 50’s in the north to the mid 60’s in the south. Low pressure will impact our area today as well, mainly in the form of clouds that will steadily move into the area throughout the day. Showers associated with the system will be drying out as they approach, and we should stay mostly dry, with the possible exception of SW NH.
