A strong cold front is currently crossing the area and will move offshore early this afternoon. Calm conditions along with temps near 50 are currently present ahead of the front and gusty NW winds along with swiftly dropping temps are present behind the front. We’ll feature the latter set of conditions for most of today. Look for highs to be set right around now with temps falling into the 30’s by evening. NW winds will gust to between 30 and 40 mph which could cause some scattered power outages. Morning clouds will clear downslope of the mountains but upsloping will keep the mountains partly to mostly cloudy. In addition, a snow shower or two is possible in the high terrain with little to no accumulation.
This cool shot isn’t super long lived and will be out of here by early this coming week.
