More sunny skies, cool temps, and NW breezes are in the forecast for today as a ridge of high pressure builds in. Look for high temps a bit lower than yesterday’s as we’re in much cooler airmass. Highs in the north are likely to range from the mid 30’s to low 40’s while highs in the south will be in the low to mid 40’s. Skies will be mostly sunny downwind of the mountains as downsloping will continue but a few upslope clouds and a few high clouds spilling over the ridge to our west will filter sunshine at times for the mountains. NW breezes will continue today but will be slightly more relaxed than yesterday’s howl. Gusts of 25-30mph are expected rather than 35-40mph yesterday.
Temps slowly move in the upward direction before a potential nor’easter type system mid week.
