I’m off hiking in the Whites today and tomorrow so won’t have an update tomorrow morning. In any case, today will feature warm temps along with increasingly oppressive humidity as a cold front slowly drifts closer. Morning clouds should gradually be replaced by afternoon sunshine as temps rise into the 80’s for most, 70’s along the mid coast. It should be a mostly dry day though I can’t rule out a shower or storm in the mountains this afternoon.
Tomorrow will feature more hazy, hot, and humid weather with highs in the 80’s along with oppressive dew points. Storms will develop to our west in the early afternoon and will move east across the area tomorrow and into tomorrow night. These storms could be severe and will certainly feature heavy rain due to the tropical nature of the airmass. Be sure to keep an eye to the sky tomorrow.
