Hello everyone!
Today will feature another sunny, warm, and dry day as SW breezes set up on the north side of a large area of high pressure . These SW winds will continue to bring in warmer air, and another mild day is expected with highs ranging from the mid 60’s along the midcoast and in the north to the mid 70’s in the typical SW warm spots . Skies will be clear and dry as moisture will once again be lacking in our part of the world. Enjoy the nice weather, it won’t last forever!

Hello everyone!
Today will feature a continuation of our quiet weather pattern as warmer air slowly begins to filter back into the region from the southwest . Sunny skies will rule the day across the area as there’s little in the way of moisture within several hundred miles. Temps will be noticeably warmer compared to today, and highs in the 60’s are expected, with a few readings near 70 possible in southern NH . Once again, dry weather is expected for the entire region .

Hello everyone!
Cool and quiet weather will continue today as high pressure moves in overhead. Look for frosty lows to rise into the low to mid 50’s for most areas this afternoon . NW winds won’t be nearly as breezy as yesterday as the high pressure takes over . Skies will be sunny for the entire region , and no precipitation is expected . Enjoy the beautiful fall day!

Hello everyone!
Current observations this morning show the long-awaited cold front just about to clear the coast. NW winds are already in progress across the mountains behind the front . Today’s weather will be dominated by a familiar pattern that we haven’t gotten to enjoy much recently: upslope/downslope. The mountains will see plenty of cloud cover as air is forced to rise up the NW slopes. As that air descends the SE slopes of the mountains, it warms and dries, leading to sunny conditions along the coastal plain . All models are in agreement that temperatures will be moving downward today , so the “high temperature” is whatever you’re seeing right now. For the mountains, this means that temperatures in the mountains will fall from the low 50’s this morning down through the 40’s this afternoon before arriving in the 30’s this evening . Temps along the coast will be about 10 degrees warmer with morning 60’s cooling to afternoon 50’s and evening 40’s .

Hello everyone!
Today will feature warm temps, a mix of sun and clouds, and breezy SW winds as a strong cold front approaches from the west. Morning fog will mix out to afternoon sunshine for all except the Midcoast, where onshore winds will keep the fog around through the day . SW winds will be gusty across the region as the cold front nears. Wind gusts of 25-30 mph will be common , with higher gusts in the mountains and along the midcoast. Showers are possible in the mountains this morning as a warm front lifts north, but the rest of the area should stay dry until the showers associated with the cold front arrive late this evening .

Hello everyone!
Today will feature warmer temps, but unfortunately with the caveat that the warmth will not primarily be driven by sunshine, which will be lacking for many areas. Early morning satellite images show clouds dominating the entire area with only a few spots along the coastal plain seeing sunshine. Here in Yarmouth, we have low level stratus moving swiftly northeast with a patchy mid level cloud deck. As the day goes on, the most likely places to see sunshine will be in the coastal plain/foothills area from Augusta SW towards Laconia . The mountains will see clouds from a weak cold front, while the coast, especially the NH Seacoast and the ME Midcoast, will see clouds from an offshore system. Highs will range from the mid 60’s in the mountains to the low 70’s along the coast . There’s a chance that parts of the NH Seacoast and parts of the mountains could see a few showers today, but mostly dry conditions are expected overall .

Hello everyone!
Today will feature more calm and cool weather as strong high pressure passes overhead. Look for temps to rise from frosty lows up into the pleasantly cool 50’s and low 60’s today under sunny skies and light southerly breezes. Sunny skies may fade to some afternoon high clouds in the western part of the area this afternoon, and marine stratus/fog can’t be ruled out along the coast this evening, but otherwise clear conditions are expected. Enjoy the beautiful weather!

Hello everyone!
Today will feature cool temps, clear skies, and light northerly breezes as strong high pressure builds in from Canada. Highs will range through the 50’s for most of the area, with some low 60’s expected in SW NH . Skies will be mainly sunny and no precip is expected .

Hello everyone!
Today will feature cooler temps and increasing clouds as high and low pressure converge on the area. High pressure will provide the cooler temps as northerly winds bring cooler air in from Canada . This air will also be dry , which will slow and eventually stop the advance of rain from the southwest this evening. Highs will range from the low 50’s in the north to the mid 60’s in the south . Low pressure will impact our area today as well, mainly in the form of clouds that will steadily move into the area throughout the day . Showers associated with the system will be drying out as they approach , and we should stay mostly dry, with the possible exception of SW NH.

Hello everyone!
Today will feature more warm weather as a stagnant airmass remains in place. The core of Nate’s moisture has raced NE of our area, and dry weather is expected in its wake. However, we haven’t gotten a strong cold front to scour out the tropical airmass. As a result, temps in the lower 70’s today outside of the mountains will feel a bit muggy . Temps will be in the 60’s in the mountains. Skies will gradually become sunnier throughout the day today and no precipitation is expected.
