Today will feature more mild temps, along with more unsettled weather as a cold front drifts towards the area from the west. Heavy rain is falling across southern parts of the area this morning due to that front, and those showers will drift north through the next few hours. Showers will become more scattered in nature by this afternoon, though the threat of rain will still be present. There could even be some sunny breaks between the showers, especially in the south and west. Any shower today south of Route 2 could produce a rumble or two of thunder, but no severe weather is expected. High temps will continue running on the warmer side, ranging from 50 in the north to 70 in southern NH.
