Warming Trend Begins Today

Hello everyone!

Today will feature the beginning of a slow upward trend in temperatures as our luck with NW flow and nice Canadian air finally runs out. The warmer and more humid air will be ushered in by a batch of showers and thunderstorms which are in progress this morning across inland areas. These showers will move swiftly northeast during the morning, exiting NE areas between 10 and noon. After that, most places stay dry today with the exception of the mountains where a shower or thunderstorm will remain possible through the evening.

Temps today will be a bit warmer than yesterday, ranging from the low 70’s in the mountains to around 80 for most inland/coastal areas to 85 in southern NH. Dew points will also move back up above 60 which means you’ll feel the humidity as well. Unfortunately, we still have a bit of summer weather yet to go.
