Hello everyone!
Today will feature mostly cloudy skies and generally quiet weather as a strong area of low pressure spins just a little too far southeast for us to cash in on its heavy precipitation. Some flurries are noted on radar imagery this morning but overall most should stay dry today. If you do get snow, it shouldn’t accumulate much if any. High temps will be seasonably mild, ranging from the low 30s in the north to the mid 30s along the coast. The best chance for some sunshine today will be over northern and western NH.

I hear this may be the pattern for sometime to come because of the strong block and El Niño keeping storms out of our reach. Just mild, dry and boring. Seems this is not going to be our winter! ☹👎
I’m not so sure about that, mostly because we’re actually in a moderate/strong La Niña and changes to the pacific should send some colder air masses in our direction come mid/late January. Still plenty of winter left to go, and still a couple weeks before we start to really feel the effects of the stratospheric warming event!
