Hello everyone!
Our nearby ocean storm is still in no hurry to depart today as an atmospheric traffic jam remains stuck in place over the Atlantic. That means our winds will remain from the northeast today, and we’ll still be dealing with some leftover cloud cover especially near the coast. Expect morning fog to burn off to afternoon sun in the mountains and foothills while low clouds remain stubborn near the shore. Another batch of mid/high clouds will pivot southwest around the storm this afternoon which will dim the sun even up north. The clouds and northeast winds will keep temps on the cooler side today, ranging from near 40 in the hills north of Augusta to near 50 in the northern CT Valley.
