Hello everyone!
Though we got a cold front to pass through the region last night, today will actually be much nicer than yesterday as the maritime airmass is long gone having been chased out by southwesterly breezes. Those breezes will continue today, pushing the coastal plain into the low to mid 60s. Slightly cooler temps will be found in the mountains and along the midcoast (mid to upper 50s). Skies will be mostly sunny after some high clouds depart the coast this morning. Some additional clouds will arrive from the west this afternoon, especially in the mountains, but most of the day should be bright for most people. Those clouds may end up dropping a few raindrops by around sunset especially in the mountains but as with the sun, most people should remain dry for most of the day.
