Today will feature the beginning of a multi-step process that will involve lots of NW winds and an impressive drop in temps. The first cold front (of three) is now pushing across the area with showers along and ahead of it. Westerly winds will bring drier but only marginally cooler air into the region today which will result in continued mild temps along with a few sunny breaks here or there, especially downwind of the mountains. Look for highs in the upper 30’s north and upper 40’s to low 50’s south.
More cold air is on the way along with the chance for snow in about a week’s time!
