After a silly little bit of spring like nonsense, winter is now reclaiming what is rightfully it’s. An Arctic cold front is driving S through the region this morning and is acting as the vanguard for a much more potent shot of cold air due to arrive for the weekend. Snow squalls are scattered across the region this morning and will continue to bring low visibility and a quick coating-1″ of snow as they roll SE through the morning hours. Temps will hold steady or even fall during the day today as colder air combats the high March sun. 20’s will be common across the north while the south sees low to mid 30’s.
More cold air will arrive tomorrow accompanied by more snow squalls.
