Today will feature more of yesterday’s warm and humid weather as a “cold” front continues to lazily drift in our direction. Look for skies to begin mostly sunny and finish with a fair amount of clouds. Some showers and storms could pop up this afternoon. The greatest chance for storms will be across southern areas as instability will be limited behind the front in the mountains. Highs will range from the mid 70’s in the north to the mid 80’s in the typical SW warm spots.
If you’re tired of the hot and humid weather, don’t worry! By Friday, temps will be in the low 60’s as a strong backdoor cold front moves through.
