Today will feature continued cool weather as a backdoor cold front sits well to our southwest. Look for highs to range from 70 in the north to 60 in the south. The backwards temperature pattern is being driven by cloud cover. Yesterday’s clouds will continue to be present across southern areas while bright sunshine will dominate the north. Daytime heating is what’s responsible for the warmer temps in those regions but even so, temps will be 10-20 degrees below normal across much of the area. Enjoy it! We’ll stay mostly dry across the area today but an isolated shower or thunderstorm can’t be ruled out in the mountains this afternoon.
