Today will feature another day under the influence of the major storm that brought wind, rain, snow, and coastal flooding on Friday. That system is drifting ever so slowly southeast across the Atlantic, but its large size means that northerly breezes will be felt once again today along with areas of cloudiness, especially in northern and eastern parts of the region. A backdoor cold front will move through the area this evening with overcast skies and a burst of snow for southern areas. Accumulations will remain confined to a coating for most areas south and west of PWM, but a few locations along the MA/NH border could see an inch. Snow will move in late this evening and out just after midnight. Temps will range through the 30’s today with the coldest temps below freezing in the mountains, and the warmest just shy of 40 along the coast.
