Today will feature cooler and cloudier weather as a backdoor cold front has now finished working southwest through the area. Behind that front, low clouds are present with NE winds bringing in cooler air. Ahead of the front in SW NH, warmer and muggier conditions remain intact. The terrain of SW NH will likely stop the boundary from making much more southwestward progress, and the combination of the terrain plus the front will likely be just enough forcing to drive a pop up shower or two this afternoon as highs rise into the mid to upper 60’s.
Elsewhere, look for more clouds than sun with much cooler temps in the low 60’s. The mountains and northeast will be even cooler than that, with highs in the low to mid 50’s.
Enjoy the cooler weather!
