Hello everyone!
A cold front is on the way this morning and will slide offshore within the next few hours. A few clouds are possible right along the front itself, but otherwise you won’t notice its passage until westerly breezes kick up later this morning. Those westerly breezes are bringing drier air into the region from the Midwest. Because we have winds from the west, downsloping will offset the temperature decline we’d expect to see with a cooler/drier airmass moving in. So coastal areas can expect highs in the low to mid 80s while the foothills enjoy mid/upper 70s and the mountains remain near 70. Skies will be mostly sunny across the area, except for a few upsloping spots in the Whites.
We’ll enjoy cooler temps tomorrow.
