Hello everyone!
Today will feature slightly cooler temperatures and a bit more cloud cover as a storm hovers off to our southwest. It’s taking its sweet time drifting our way, but most spots south and west of Bethel/Waterville/Belfast are seeing clouds this morning as a result of its presence. This will be the general trend for today with a couple stray showers occasionally dripping from the cloud deck especially in central NH. Temps will remain on the cooler side under the thickest clouds over the Whites and into the Portland-Lewiston corridor where highs will struggle into the mid/upper 50s. Farther northeast, patchy sunshine will warm a cooler airmass into the low 60s, while southern NH enjoys much warmer temps in the upper 60s to low 70s south of the warm front. A strengthening easterly breeze will keep coastal towns on the cooler side as well, especially this afternoon.
