Hello everyone!

Today will feature cooler temps and unsettled conditions as an upper-level low slides south out of Canada. Look for morning sunshine especially away from the coastal plain to give way to cloudier skies this afternoon as some instability develops thanks to the cold air aloft. That instability will support some showers beginning early in the afternoon over northern and northeastern parts of the area before moving south later in the afternoon. Precipitation will be most likely and most persistent over the mountains thanks to some upsloping. Temps will be held down by the cooler air aloft and relatively abundant cloud cover with highs ranging from the low/mid 50s up north to the low/mid 60s along the southern coast.
