Hello everyone!

Today will feature the return of mild air to the region as winds shift around from southwesterly to northwesterly as a cold front passes through. Any actually cold air lags a bit behind this boundary so downsloping will dominate the temperature pattern today, sending highs into the low/mid 60s for much of the coastal plain. Temps will be cooler, in the low-mid 50s, up in the mountains where clouds will be a bit more widespread and a brief shower can’t be ruled out this afternoon.
