Today will feature morning fog burning off to midday sun followed by afternoon clouds. Look for temps to continue the upward path they’ve been on since Saturday with highs in the north reaching the mid 60’s and those in the south reaching the lower 70’s. Morning fog is a result of clearing skies behind a front that is now to our south. The presence of such fog indicates that after it burns off, sunny skies await (if there were clouds overhead, the fog wouldn’t have formed). Skies will be mainly clear with the exception of SW NH where partly sunny skies will be the rule due to closer proximity to the front. The front begins to drift north this evening and clouds will as well with most of the area seeing at least some partial cloudiness by sundown.
