Our glorious stretch of cool weather will roll on today as we continue to be placed perfectly in between two areas of low pressure. The first is the one that brought us the showers yesterday. It is moving towards Nova Scotia and N/NW winds behind it are helping to keep us in the cool weather. The NW winds will also try to help things clear out a bit this afternoon, but we’ll still be under the influence of a second area of low pressure in the Saint Lawrence river valley. This low will help keep clouds and a few scattered showers in the mix with both the clouds and the showers expected to be most concentrated near the low in the far north. Southern and western areas are likely to see a return of the sunshine before the sun sets this evening. Highs will range from the low/mid 60’s north to the upper 60’s/low 70’s south.
