Today will feature more muggy and unsettled weather as tropical moisture continues to stream north over the region. Fog is being observed along the coast and in adjacent inland areas this morning, and will continue through the midday hours before slowly lifting/burning off at least somewhat this afternoon. As daytime heating gets going, showers will once again pop up, with western areas once again most likely to see raindrops, and eastern areas most likely to stay dry. Temps will remain seasonably warm, ranging from the low 70’s along the coast to the low 80’s in sunnier northern/western areas. However, dew points will remain oppressive so today’s air will be uncomfortable, even though it won’t be all that hot.
