Cold Rain And Mountain Snow Today

Hello everyone!

Today will feature continued cold and unsettled conditions as low pressure moves northeast past Cape Cod. Amazingly, we’ll be watching for precip type changes despite the fact that it’s mid-May. The best chance of snowflakes will be above 1,500 feet in the foothills and mountains. The Camden Hills will also get in on the snow. Accumulations will range from nothing in the valleys to over 6″ above 4,000 feet. High temps will range from 35 in the mountains to just above 40 along the coast. Happy spring!

Will it get warm any time soon? That depends largely on your threshold for ‘warm’, but if it’s anywhere above 70, it will likely be a while.
