Hello everyone!
Today will feature continued increases in temps as a warmer airmass moves into the region from the southwest. Expect morning low clouds and patchy fog east of the Turnpike to lift gradually from SW to NE during the coming hours as temps rise into the low 80’s in the north/along the Midcoast and the low 90’s in the typical SW warm spots. As far as precipitation goes, today will follow the example set by recent days with showers and thunderstorms popping up in the afternoon across NH before moving east into Maine during the evening. These storms could produce some damaging wind gusts and small hail but the overall severe threat will be on the lower side. All storms will produce heavy rain and lightning regardless of their severity in terms of wind/hail. Storms will gradually weaken this after sunset.
