More Generally Nice Spring Weather

Hello everyone!

Sunny skies are being observed across the region this morning as high pressure plows into the region from Canada, pushing not one but two storms (including Tropical Storm Arthur) away from our area. This high pressure system will keep generally nice spring weather in place for today, as well as the rest of this week, this coming weekend, and probably much of next week too. Because we’re importing this high pressure system from our friendly neighbors to the north, it will be a bit cooler today. Look for high temps ranging from 50 in Rockland to 55 along the rest of the coast to 60 in most of NH and the mountains to 65 in interior parts of the coastal plain. A weak upper-level disturbance will send some clouds in our direction this afternoon, so enjoy this morning’s sunshine while it’s here. No precipitation is expected.
